Our experienced and dedicated packaging development team are actively involved in all aspects of our customers’ product lifecycles, from initial sourcing, through the supply chain to final delivery. We source our packaging from worldwide based suppliers and pride ourselves on collaboratively working with these suppliers and our customers. This multi-way partnership brings to the marketplace, packaging solutions which enhance our customer’s products through innovative and creative design, function and materials.

As part of our commitment to our ISO14001 accreditation, we aim to source packaging in such a way as to minimise and reduce our carbon footprint. We are also proactively working with our customers and our packaging suppliers, to try and reduce the amount of packaging generated.

We aim to source packaging suppliers that also have ISO14001 accreditation, to ensure that environmental and sustainable issues are addressed on an ongoing basis and where possible, we will recommend the use of packaging which contains post consumer recycled material. Packaging components that do not contain recycled material, or are not able to be recycled easily, are kept to an absolute minimum, without compromising the integrity of our customers’ products.

We also try and match customers that pride themselves on their environmental credentials, with packaging suppliers that share their same ideals, such as Soil Association or Forestry Stewardship Council accreditation.

As part of this ongoing drive towards environmentally aware and sustainable packaging, we are working with several of our key packaging suppliers to put in place returnable delivery solutions, such as plastic totes and crates to minimise single use corrugated delivery boxes and disposable plastic bags.
