Alan McClue, David Cranwell.

As a qualified accountant with some 30 years experience in Manufacturing, I have extensive experience in both Operational and Commercial Management. My objectives for the business are focused on ensuring excellence in our customer service and process capability. With the support of a strong Management Team, I am committed to challenging for continuous improvement to deliver efficient, predictable and repeatable service throughout the business.

I have 30 years experience in quality assurance, continuous improvement and management systems including 21 years within the Group. I joined the business in 1995 as Quality Assurance Manager before taking responsibility for the entire Compliance team which included leading packaging, bulk and finished goods quality assurance, microbiology, regulatory, environment and health and safety management. As Director of Operations I lead a talented and dedicated team who are committed to delivering the best possible service to clients and the business across the operations portfolio by continually challenging ourselves, our colleagues and our processes.

I hold a Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of Bath and a Diploma in Cosmetic Science. I am a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and also sit on the Society of Cosmetics Council and Scientific Program Committee organising and delivering industry wide events and lectures. I have many years experience in formulation development of personal care and industrial products for both global and niche brands alike, leading our research and development team to develop innovative formulations to exceed customer expectations.

Having started in the toiletries and personal care industry as a Development Chemist I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in 2001. I have held a number of roles within the company including; Manufacturing Manager, Environmental Manager and Quality Manager before stepping up to the Head of Compliance role in 2014 having completed my MSc at Bournemouth University. I have an experienced and dedicated team working with me to ensure your products are produced to your expectations and that our quality and environmental management systems are fully compliant.

With over 30 years experience working with manufacturing based systems, I have responsibility for ensuring that all business systems function effectively, are appropriate, and continue to meet both the internal and external needs of our customers. The role is key to ensuring that systems are continually evaluated, reviewed and improved to meet the changing needs of the business, examples being the integration of a visual planning system and workflow applications with our ERP solution. The IT team has a monitoring and improvement role that spans goods receiving to delivery of customer orders.

I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in 2013 having built up over 10 years experience in a diverse set of industries, from FTSE 250 to public sector. I qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2012 and continue to seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. As Head of Commercial Finance my responsibilities centre around analysis, forecasting and financial control. Our Commercial Finance team is highly trained and experienced to provide the best possible support, both to the business and to our customers.

After graduating in Food Science and initially working as a food technologist with RHM, I moved into the Commercial function in 1996. I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in 2007 where I have developed a sound knowledge of the Beauty industry. I am enthusiastic and commercially focused with a proven track record of working successfully with customers to develop ranges of fragrances and toiletries.

I joined HC in November 2011, and my role is to support and grow our current customers, and manage new opportunities for the business through NPD and concept presentation. I have a passion for customer service and product development with over 6 years experience within the beauty/cosmetics industry working with major retailers and brand owners on both a full service and contract manufacturing basis.

I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in November 2013 having previously worked as a Brand Manager for a customer. This experience gives me great insight into what you expect from us as a company. The level of service and attention to detail make Hampshire Cosmetics second to none, and I am delighted to be part of the amazing team here who can assist you with all your production and development requirements.

I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in 2015. With over 10 years experience in the industry, I come from a development background and have lots of experience working with brands of all sizes, large and small. My role is to support existing business and to introduce new customers by guiding them through the NPD processes to successful product launch.

I have worked at Hampshire Cosmetics for more than 20 years in various positions within the company. My previous roles include Production Planning and Master Scheduling for the business. This extensive experience gives me a great foundation in my current role as a Business Manager, enabling me to effectively deliver a full service to meet all of our customer requirements.

I joined Hampshire Cosmetics in August 2011 having previously been a customer for a considerable number of years. I have been involved in New Product Development for over 10 years working in the cosmetics industry. With a focused team of Coordinators and Technologists we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with all our customers.
